It's a bit difficult to convey what that world is like to someone who hasn't lived it, isn't it. 42 pesos seems crazy but at less than $15 total for two dollars, I would have rather payed that than how things turned out. :) I was of course down there when you were. I wonder if we crossed paths. I think from having seen your video that you are a lot better than I am but in those super-crowded milongas no one would ever know anyway. :)bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12602666248281107123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186962205022162647.post-68606029926651149842008-05-09T00:09:00.000-07:002008-05-09T00:09:00.000-07:00Hi, B. For me, we ended up paying 42 pesos and the driver getting lost for an entire hour. *merry laugh*

I saw Coca's husband, Osvaldo, at Porteno y Bailarin. It was a special treat that night since Alberto Podesta was singing. It was packed and he was AWESOME. He sang one of my favs from him "Por Una Cabeza."

Thanks for sending me your blog. I'm enjoying reading it. I got to do those things you are talking about except I didn't stay there as long as you did. I bet you must be pretty good. 4 mos in BsAs like tangoing for 2 years in the U.S.

I've only been at 2.5 years now and still going strong. Very addictive. *grin*

Cheers, Sly / MakeBLeave :-DSlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02171181584211954403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186962205022162647.post-60823722740975742592008-02-19T12:07:00.000-08:002008-02-19T12:07:00.000-08:00Hi, TB. But that's a parana fish head (very big one) from that delta.bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12602666248281107123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186962205022162647.post-46171772151974611372008-02-19T11:52:00.000-08:002008-02-19T11:52:00.000-08:00Please tell me that tortoise head is not something...Please tell me that tortoise head is not something you ate for dinner. I'm glad you got an advance peek at your roommate--that was a happy coincidence!

No-Doze is very helpful in the situation you described at Sunderland (and that place is hard to find/hard to get to). I'm glad you went though.tangobabyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01288974184200212536noreply@blogger.com
